CEBU, Philippines - Technical Education
and Skills Development Authority – Central Visayas (Tesda-7) is among the
second batch of sites to receive the coveted ISO
9001 Certification In Delhi.
The award recognize Tesda 7 as among the best development of training regulations, development of competency-based exemplars and competency-based tools in the Philippines.
Tesda-7 Regional Director Rosanna Urdaneta received the award last May 28 at the Tesda Central Office.
For a government agency to get an ISO certification means Tesda-7 is serving beyond what is expected of them as a government office, giving quality service to the people especially the youth who wants to improve their skills to improve their lives.
It was TÜV SÜD PSB, an international service corporation testing company who evaluated the kind of service provided by the agency. The audit was conducted last March 16 to April 17. (FREEMAN)
